My Exit Interview transcript with our very own Jeremiah! :
Rodney: Welcome to Ponderosa, Jer and congratulations on a game well played. Sorry to see you here. You bummed out about it?
Jeremiah: Well, I think I was getting 5th no matter how last vote went if I didn't win that IC, and Monica winning was worst case, but I am happy with how I played. I would have loved to have been able to plead my case with the jury at the end, and loved to win, but again, happy with my game.
R: So you knew going in you were done for?
or did you think there was hope?
J:After the IC I was 99% sure I was going home. Monica/Ami said I was a threat to win, and Rudy was just bitter haha
R: What was your reaction to Rudy's blatant comments to you at Tribal talk?
Does he still have a chance for your FTC vote?
J: My reaction was, thats the truth. Everyone knew I was here to play and win haha, so yes, I was setting myself up to win That shouldnt have been a shocker haha. I haven't floated here. Do I think it was childish, yes. He has to use screen captures to make himself look better, but I appreciate being looked at as a jury threat. Means I was doing something right.
And he has a .001% chance at my vote. Yes, I know he has played the game, but being a complete dick, character or not will not make me give you my vote. If he had simply stated that he was voting me since I voted out Tyson, and left it at that, yes, I could have dealt with it, but to comment and continue on like he did, no, you just pretty much lost it. You can play the best game possible, but because you acted like a jerk to everyone, it makes your game look less spectacular in their eyes, and may cost you the game.
R: At any point during the revote did you tell Rudy you would not be keeping Tyson or was he blindsided by the results?
J: Initially, I told him Tyson was going. He gave me his ultimatum, then threatened me to keep Tyson, so I didn't feel the need to play nice with him. So, he was probably blindsided, but had I told him in advance, we would still be speaking right now.
R: do you have any regrets? if not last round, any round before? Is there something at some point that sticks out that you could have done different that you would be sitting in f4 right now?
J: I dont really think I was in anyone's long term plans, except Nick & Aras', so I was playing it round by round, trying to find cracks and stick myself between them to take the heat off of me, and onto anyone else. I don't regret anything. I just lost my connections early, was backed into a corner, and no one would listen from then on. Some people say I lacked in my social skills with them, well its because they didnt want to talk as they seen me as someone whos going to go home and was no use to them. That cost some people their games, and that sucks for them. I think the only thing that would have gotten my further was winning IC's.
R: I think I speak for all the viewers when i say you really lasted longer than any of us could have imagined. You were a great opportunist in this game but it look like your opportunities ran dry. I'll leave you with this. Were you the adaptive hero or the lying villain you were accused of?
J: A bit of both, but I would go with mostly the adaptive hero. Why? Well, I did what I had to do, with people who didn't want to give me the time of day. If you don't trust me, I don't trust you. For the people who gave me their word, I kept mine in return, for the people who lied to me, they got it right back. What you give is what you get.
R: Well, love him or hate him, it was clearly an unconventional ride. Can't wait to see you back for FTC. Who's your pick?
J: Aras cause he's my bro! In actuality, probs Monica.
